My opinion

I’m really getting fed up by hearing some hunters who state: “It’s the law of the jungle”; the stronger you are, most power you have over the other, in this case, over animals. Animals should not be regarded as a human property. There is nothing wrong with using animals as resources for human purposes .An example of an appropriate use of animals are some flock of sheep, which are quite useful for the textile industry development and the confection of warm cloth; also to obtain ewes milk and produce ewes’ milk cheese. But it should be obligatory to ensure they do not suffer unnecessarily. Hunting is the practice of pursuing animals for food, recreation and trade; this is legal since it excludes the killing of individual protected animals, such as bears.

Now you might be asking yourself, in that case; why is she complaining about hunting when it is legal? Well, let me tell you what happens. Sometimes hunting is seen as a sport. This should be distinguished from poaching; the killing of some endangered species which is against law. This affects the restoration of biological diversity giving as a result the risk of these jeopardized species to become extinct. Another disgraceful fact is that only a few of the endangered species are protected by law. I think it is beyond a joke that so many species have disappeared and are currently becoming extinct without being highly published. Even a most worrying fact is that hunting isn’t the only way by which animals are victims of human mistreatment. Even thought you can’t believe it, there are some games in which the principal objective is to see and enjoy how animals suffer till they finally die.
So I’m still fed up with morbid persons who enjoy seeing an animal suffer; it is out of my principles. Any person who takes pleasure in mistreating animals, has a morbid imagination what isn’t humane and healthy. I think I will never understand how so many persons can put up with that sort of rudeness.
